I love going to shows here even though I can't figure out which part has which name etc.

Love that we were able to see Lorna Shore outside beforehand. Fun, small atmosphere in this place.

The security was awesome! It's always fun to go to a show where security treats people nicely and doesn't seem too horrified by the music. The crew this night Worked HARD between all the crowd surfers, a medical issue and the super high energy of the crowd.

I don't drink at shows but I do stand at the rail. I felt safe and welcomed.

Good vibes all around. I'll continue to come back.

Great multi-use facility w/a big dance floor and stage in the main hall. We attended a New Year's Eve Party with a great view of the downtown fireworks. Parking can be questionable.

Pro tip - Get there early and park in the street.

Having never been here before I was worried about going alone as a female with autism with my young autistic teen.

Parking was easy and security was good! We were safely directed inside and back out to our cars by security and felt 100% safe the whole time. The crowd was great (I assume if can change for different bands) and we even made some friends in the crowd.

The line was long but moved fast and it started raining and they were really good to get us all under cover while we were waiting to get in.

Definitely go early so you can get a good spot if that’s a concern for you. We didn’t go early but we still got in quickly and were able to get a decent spot close to the stage. It was well organized and we got out of the parking lot after the concert just fine.

My only complaint is one of the security guards was rude but otherwise it was a wonderful experience and we can’t wait to go back!

A magical evening at the legendary Gilly’s for a wedding! The venue was perfect for an intimate celebration, offering endless possibilities to make the day unique. The ceremony took place outside at sunset, creating a stunning backdrop, while the festivities transitioned indoors for a cozy and lively atmosphere. As the night fell, the Dallas skyline provided breathtaking photo opportunities, adding a touch of urban charm to the celebration.

I came here with my partner and my sister in law Tuesday to see Sisters of Mercy. The show was great, but I have serious concerns about the security staffing at this venue.

I have MS and other neurological conditions. Some days are harder than others. I'm heat intolerant and a general fall risk with exhaustion, although I can walk.
Dealing with security at this place was humiliating. I walked through the metal detector (as you do at airports if you can) and have staff check the chair. We came early to avoid crowds. The particular staff member I was dealing with announced loudly SHE CAN WALK even after we very clearly just parked in a handicap spot. I can brush this off. I get it can be surprising. After an ordeal with my medical bag (we understandably had to leave a backpack in the car,) we moved on.
Later on into the show, my SIL wheels me to the bathroom, and the SAME security guard mocks me to her co-worker SHES GONNA WALK AGAIN. I was too embarassed to confront her, since she chose to target me when very few people were around for a second time and not in the presence of my RN partner.

In all, I noted about 4 other wheelchair users.

I won't be coming back.

Southside Ballroom is a vintage music venue that delivers an exceptional concert experience. With its all-general admission setup, it’s always easy to get close to the stage and enjoy great views of the band. The bartenders and staff are awesome, providing top-notch service every time.

One of the venue’s unique features is the popcorn and nacho lady—she’s always so kind and takes great care of everyone, adding a personal touch to the experience. I love catching my favorite music groups here; the intimate vibe really enhances the performance. Parking is convenient, though it’s about $20, but overall, Southside Ballroom remains a go-to spot for live music fans.

I was there doing a red carpet event for A Runway Through Time Fashion event. By Tamara owner of Uneek Dzynes. she did not disappoint anyone at this event, all I can still say is WOW. The best event I have ever attended in the industry here in Dallas, and I have attended many.

Dope venue.. we checked out thee sacred souls had a good time. No long lines at the bar. A lot of parking around. Got lucky didn’t have to pay will be back.
