Ashley at the hotel front desk went above and beyond for us and was a gem to deal with! This woman is definitely an asset to this place and understands hospitality. We look forward to our next visit and we came away from our stay very happy and grateful we were able to deal with her.
Hotel was clean, comfortable and well maintained with lots of parking and food options onsite. We loved the restaurant Casual - their servers and hostess were very welcoming and great do deal with. Overall, a great stay!

We visited the Pickering Casino for the first time to experience the highly anticipated FLUFFY SHOW, and it certainly lived up to our expectations! The performance was a delightful mix of humor and entertainment, leaving us laughing the entire time. After the show, we decided to extend our evening by checking into the hotel for an overnight stay.

Upon entering our room, we were pleasantly surprised by how spacious and meticulously clean it was. The decor was inviting, creating a comfortable atmosphere that made us feel right at home. We appreciated the thoughtful amenities provided, which added to our overall enjoyment.

Overall, it was a lovely experience, and we left with fond memories and a desire to return soon. We’re already looking forward to our next visit!

I booked my one night stay through booking.com, I paid for 2 rooms in full before my day of reservation. When I got there, I was told of the incidental fee, $100 per room, if you used a credit card, &300 per night if you paid with cash or debit card. No where in the communication from the hotel did it say anything about this. I felt this was discriminatory. The manager I spoke with at check in accommodated us and reduced the required deposit to $100 per room, with the confirmation that the room would be checked at check out to confirm there was no damage, etc. Since there were no other options, we were not able to cancel the reservation and get our money back, we traveled from the US for an event. So we proceeded. The next day at check out, our room was checked and of course they found damage, to a pillowcase, it was stained. I couldn’t believe it! This hotel discriminates against cash and debit card paying customers. Other the nice rooms, I will absolutely never stay here again and be sure booking.com and everyone knows about this. A guest is a guest. No matter how they are paying. I have stayed at very nice hotels and have never experienced this kind of treatment.

Nice hotel, with spacious rooms. The beds are comfortable, and the entire hotel is nice and clean. There is a "food court" with fast food options (some open 24 hours). Free parking is included. While there is lots of parking it can be a bit of a hike to get into the hotel. Driving around the site is a bit confusing at first so give yourself time.

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel, it's beautiful!
The hotel is attached to the Casino and an entertainment venue which is an awesome addition to keep busy.
The room was large, very clean, and well appointed.
The hotel is located right off the highway making it convenient to get to and from.

Wow. I’d expect if paying over 500.00 for one night I’d receive better service, and have a cleaner room? Black short hair in the bed. What looked like blood on a foot towel?! Crumbs in the pullout couch all over the bed. No dish soap for the few utensils they offer in their kitchenette suites. No plates, bowls cleaning supplies or bottle opener / can opener I’d expect this in a 1 star, $60.00 motel. But for a highly rated and overpriced hotel, no. Not only this, I requested a luggage cart be brought up to our room: Why wouldn’t this hotel have staff to do this? You charge how much a night, and I have to wait around for a cart downstairs and bring it up. If you don’t want people to hold onto carts in their room, the best way would be to bring carts to rooms, when they’re ready to pack one. The sign at the front desk, was also appalling “extra bottles of water 4.00 charge”…. Did I feel threatened? Sorta. Why not just politely tell customers, you can get them a bottle but the cost for extra is 4.00. Would definitely make customers feel less threatened. The location was good, lots of parking and we went to a restaurant in the casino that was quite frankly AMAZING. We loved our server Sean! Otherwise though, I think Pickering casino and resort should either lower prices, or heighten their service and cleaning. My bed didn’t even get made; because my coat was on it…. Yet she made the pull out, which had a sweater on it.

Requested a cleaning manager, got the runaround and they never followed up with us. Unbelievable really.

Spent the weekend for my husbands birthday.
Came to our room to find cupcakes and a birthday card welcoming us to the hotel.
Staff was fantastic, rooms are clean and spacious. We had dinner at The Casual the first night… fish and chips were great.
Dinner tonight is at the Copperhorn, hopefully just as good as everything else here!
