I have had the best experience with Hope Clinic. When looking for a therapist, I was looking for two things: Another woman of color who would understand the nuances of being raised in a high shame/high honor culture and someone who could point to the scriptures for direction and truth. I found that exact thing and more at Hope! Each session I felt seen and understood without feeling judged or shame. Shipra was a God sent! This investment has been life changing. I recommend Hope to everyone I encounter. This place was a true blessing!

I was nervous about entering into counseling for the first time but my experience at Hope was amazing and effective in helping me overcome what I was going through. Shipra was very encouraging, kind, and lovingly helped me grow in areas that were once uncomfortable. Shipra taught me many successful skills to manage my emotions and communicate how I feel in healthy ways that I still use today and share with friends experiencing the same difficulties. I came to Hope Counseling for my teenage son and ended up getting counseling for myself. My son’s counselor was very patient and kind with him and soon after I started seeing Shipra who I am so thankful for! She is amazing and exactly what I needed exactly when I needed it. Everyone here was so great and accommodating it truly has made a huge difference in my life.

We were recommended this practice by a friend and so thankful we found Shipra St John. From the first meeting she made my teenage daughter feel so welcomed and comfortable and she is so good with teenagers and family issues. The practice and staff are so warm and you feel at ease when you enter the room. We recommend Hope to everyone we know!

1st time here and not a good experience. Was sent her by social security for my son. There is very little information given by social security on what to do when you get there. No one from the facility tells you over the phone either. So you either knock on a door or wait a possibly miss your time. I knocked on the door. Lady seemed nice enough at the time. She told me my son and I could sit by the vending machines as we were early. I went back at the appointment time and knocked on the door again. Same woman very rude and condescending tells me "I already told you I would come and get you when its time. No she didn't. Thats the reason I went back to the door at the appointment time. I apologized for knocking at my appointment time and interrupting her. I explained we weren't sure what to do and didn't want to miss the appointment. She still continued to be rude and nasty with me stating she didn't want to talk about it anymore. She then was able to turn around and put her "sweet face" on for my son. Almost like split personalities lol. That is your 1 star because she was kind to my son from what I could see. I work in the mental health field myself for 13 years. I will not go back to this place ever and would also advise people against going due to the way I was treated. There was absolutely no reason to be so nasty with a clients parent like that!!! We were there for the 1st time ever and get treated like this because we aren't sure what to do. Not too good for business. Some people truly should not be working in this field if this is how they treat people. I hope you do read this. No one coming to therapy for any reason should be made to feel this way. Also all this attitude was given in front of my son and another client another big boo boo on her part. I will also be reporting to social security. Maybe this facility should not be a part of social security if you can't deal with the clients. Makes me horrified that we have people readily out there like this dealing w people that actually need TLC

We love Hope Counseling Clinic!! My daughters 8 & 10 as well as my sons 13 & 15 have met with counselors here. We have had full family sessions and also my husband and I have also worked with one of the counselors to tune up our marriage. We believe counseling is necessary at different times in life for our mental well being. We consider our counselors from here to be more like our “life coaches!” They help us work through small and big issues so we don’t stay stuck in our own heads. We HIGHLY recommend Hope Counseling Clinic for individual or family needs.
