I was a resident at New Hope Recovery for 34 days. They played a huge part in my recovery, they were caring and gave me the right tools to taking that new chapter in my life towards my sobriety. Currently I’m in the outpatient program. I learned recovery is a lifetime experience. I would definitely recommend New Hope to the addict who is tired of being tired and wants help. They also keep an open door policy when you complete the program. To visit members who are in recovery and share about their experience and how New Hope benefited from their stay. Great place to fight addiction.

I spent 28 days here in residential treatment and did 20 sessions of php (partial hospitalization) which is their out patient program. my counselor in there September was amazing, she truly built me up in ways that made it easier for me to navigate my emotions and understand why i am the way i am. she was so supportive through everything i brought in that that room. truly gave me a better understanding of my alcoholism! the residential part of it, however was a different story. a lot of people in there are unprofessional. through my own experience and through things i’ve heard from former clients i’m still in contact with. but that’s business, at the end of the day they are there for a paycheck and every work place has their own drama. just sucks that’s where you’re put to live, i get that we’re all there because we messed up and need help and chose to be (most of the time there are ultimatums, so we could argue the “choice”aspect ) but when you’re living there temporarily and whatnot , showering, eating, conversing and sleeping; and there is petty drama around you , it really dulls your mood and your hope. you’re made to feel bad about yourself, but no one there really fixes the issues or even talks to you about it as they are severely understaffed and it’s obvious the staff is stressed out due to that. my case manager in there spoke with me a hand full of times one on one intake promised 1 on 1 counseling everyday. If they were not telling the truth or if staff wasn’t doing they’re job, i may never know. I felt as if my needs weren’t a priority. i was also sick with strep throat in there 3 days before going to urgent care. i was told my covid test came out negative so im “just sick and fine!” eventually, 3 days later my fever was over 100° so someone took me to the urgent care. what do you know? strep throat and antibiotics were needed. 3 days to take me , it was either ambulance or family could take me. and the staff member who took me almost seemed bothered to do so. my mother was sick and an hour away. my main support was outside meetings and people i met at said outside meetings. it was an overpriced hotel your insurance pays for. they filled out my disability paperwork wrong, blamed EDD and the issue was never resolved. i never got paid what i should have. they had promised me it would be taken care of. but when push comes to shove, what am i left with? a bunch of bills after being out of work to do the program. That was my experience & Take away. Ashley , September , Jonathan , Teresa and Warren were my saving grace there. I’m sober now, with tools under my belt to combat the hard times. The thought of never wanting to go back is prevalent. So it worked, I’m sober and a hell of a lot grateful for this life I live and got to come back home too. Thank you, New Hope.

If your in desperate need to change your life. If your tired of being tired of living In chaos and desperation. New Hope Recovery can give you nothing short of a new hope! Councilor’s are amazing and share our same background. This is a safe and judgment free zone. I’m proud to call staff and clients my family and love them like they are as the love me. You got too want it.

I was here for 30 days in 2012 and it saved my life. You have to participate in your recovery. The reading and writing groups, as difficult as they were, are crucial to you making it out in the real world and surviving. You have to learn to fill that empty hole with substance other than drugs and alcohol and you have to understand the difference of emotions you experience. I got that at new hope. I did the work, poured my soul out on paper and read it to the world and it was so freeing to me. It needed to happen so I could be the example for my kids on what not to do in life. Prescription pills will destroy you even though they come from "professionals/ doctors". New Hope gave me a 2nd chance with my family and life. They will forever be in my heart and in my recommendations if anyone I know needs help.

As a person who was extremely hesitant about attending New Hope, that all changed the day I met Ashley as my counselor. She instantly inspired trust and hope in me. I felt at ease around her. The way she spoke not only to the group but to me personally made me feel as if she truly cared, I felt at home. I’ve been able to open up in ways I never thought possible. She’s made me understand my problem is not a problem, but a disease. Ashley has not only helped me discover who I am again but in the process I’ve also learned to love myself again. I just want to say Ashley is an amazing counselor, thank you New Hope for having amazing counselors like her. I don’t know if my journey would have been this uplifting and momentous without her!!

I was fortunate enough to have spent 30 days in residential at new hope and then about 21 days in the partial hospitalization(Php). All I can say that it was absolutely live saving for me, the entire staff was extremely friendly and my counselor Daniel Chavez was really helpful! September who runs Php was extremely understanding and supportive while I was in treatment! I could write an essay on how much of a help all the staff was! A special thank you to upper management (shawna and Katy) for believing in me and providing an opportunity to work on myself. And for allowing me to see ufc 300! While in residential that was clutch for me in my recovery!! Thank you new hope for everything!!

Great place to be if you're tired of being sick and tired. Been to 4 other rehabs and this place has been the best. Staff was amazing some got on my nerves but that's life. Went straight to PHP after and I love it. Built a great relationship with the other clients. Just remember your not alone this place is always here for you ❤️
