Fantastic Resource for our RI Vets! DAI Restore was so proud to donate $2200, (100% of the Funds raised, along with an unexpected 100% match from DAI's owners,) raised during our annual summer classic car shows May to Sept, at our Coventry office. The more we learned of the many resources provided by OSD for Veteran's, the more we were intrigued. For example, their Free Clothing & shoe shed, monthly Food Pantry, free legal counsel, job assistance, temp and long term housing, and many more resources for these well deserved Veterans, whether short term support or long term support, they are there 365 days a year. The exceptional staff are either Vets or direct family members of a veteran. All donations except 0.04%, directly go to the cause. If you are searching for a charity to donate to, I would strongly recommend Operation StandDown, as they are one of the most exceptional organizations in RI, who truly care with actions, not just words! DAI Restore will continue to support this great cause to show our appreciation for ALL those who choose to serve and protect. THANK YOU!

I recently had the privilege of being represented by Operation Stand Down Rhode Island, and I cannot express enough how impressed I am with their services. I reached out to them when I struggled with my VA compensation claims, and the results I achieved were remarkable.

Operation Stand Down Rhode Island played a pivotal role in helping me increase my VA disability rating from 60% to an incredible 90%. This significant improvement has substantially impacted my life, and I owe it all to the dedicated and knowledgeable team at Operation Stand Down Rhode Island.

One aspect that stood out to me was their responsiveness. While it takes patience to get someone on the phone, leaving a voicemail or emailing ensures a prompt response. In my experience, they consistently got back to me fairly quickly, which is essential when dealing with matters like VA compensation claims.

Two individuals who deserve special recognition for their exceptional assistance are John Lombardo and Tara Adams. I contacted them frequently with numerous questions, and they displayed remarkable patience and professionalism throughout our interactions. They answered all of my questions thoroughly and ensured that I understood the entire process clearly.

I wholeheartedly recommend Operation Stand Down Rhode Island to anyone struggling with their VA compensation claims. Their commitment to helping veterans secure the benefits they deserve is evident in the outstanding results they achieve and the unwavering support they provide. Don't hesitate to contact them if you are in a similar situation. They are a beacon of hope for veterans seeking assistance with their claims.

Thank you, Operation Stand Down Rhode Island, for your dedication and support. You have made a significant difference in my life, and I am incredibly grateful for your services.

Edit: Although I did appreciate what they did, I do believe they fell short after looking back at it now. After being awarded 90%, they did inform me that they could not provide additional services to me. I then, had to handle the rest of the process with the VA on my own. I did believe I could be granted a higher overall rating. I also, still have some people I know that have open/pending cases with them. They have shared their experience and haven't been too happy so far with the agency. I would try looking for another agency in my opinion.

OSDRI and Allyson T. have done so much for me. In the past I was using a different third party to pursue my VA disability claims which ended poorly. I decided to check out OSDRI and it has been night and day. They walk you through every step of the process and my rep Allyson keeps in touch with me regularly about updates and what to expect next. This is truly a well developed team of professionals. Highly recommend.

Like many other veterans I did put off the VA process. With all the information available it can be overwhelming to understand. I’m sure you’ve watched enough YouTube videos, and google’d enough of questions that it brought you to my review. OSDRI made my process the fastest, and by far the most informative. I had the pleasure to initially meet Amy. Being part of the legal team, she was able to answer questions I had that were stalling me to start the process. A week later, I was pleased to have OSDRI representing me towards my VA needs. They kept me informed every step of the way, literally haha. Not only did I feel welcome, I still keep in touch with OSDRI because they do SO much more than VA cases. Shoutout to Brian in E & T. Thank you for all that you do!

They handled my VA disability claim and kept me informed throughout the process. I'd tried other several other lawyers and was dissatisfied with the way I was treated like a number and not a person in need. I'd recommend OSDRI to any veterans that need help or want to offer their help.

John Lombardo was absolutely the best. He did all the hard work and I received an increased rating. OSDRI is a great organization that helps veterans even if you already have a claim denied. I highly recommend!! There is nothing to lose, and lots to possibly gain.

Tara won me my appeal in less than 6 months.
based on my experience, and, excuse my split infinitive, but, the entire team go “above and beyond.”

Tara Adams and Bill Dorey, each are wonderful, at lending to me, a sense of calm. It is difficult for veterans to recount traumatic events.
But, Tara is skilled at understanding. She knew exactly ask what I need to hear in a tone that is tender, as well as, professional.

During my eviction, Bill phoned every day.
He escorted me to court.
And he checked on me after I moved to ensemble plans to rebuild my housing situation.

They each return phone calls and emails within hours. I’m not kidding.
And they cooperate with other help agencies.
I can’t believe how efficient they are at expediting my appeals case and my housing.

Thank you Tara and Bill!
Operation Stand Down is a marvelous organization.
I’m a staunch advocate.

I signed with OSDRI to represent me in my claims. There was confusion about attorney fees I would be required to pay. They told me that I would only have to pay attorneys fees if they had to file an appeal. I am not sure what happened but the VA took 20% attorney fees out of my back pay and paid it to OSDRI even though an appeal was never filed. I brought this to the attention of OSDRI and explained to them that I didnt believe I should have to pay a large attorney fee ($1800) since no appeal was ever filed. OSDRI refunded my money to me. Before you sign with any veterans organization make sure both the veteran and the organization are perfectly clear about what fees will be charged.
