Außerordentlich aufdringliche und ungepflegte Kerle vor dem Lokal die Karten zum lächerlichen Preis ankaufen wollen. Das Abschlußkonzert (SAGA) war super....

Such a lovely and intimate theatre while having plenty of space. It seems to have a rich history with plenty of well known musicians who have played here. We went to see TR/ST on November 7th, 2024. Got the opportunity to get be close to the stage when we showed up early. Plenty of bars and has a balcony to watch from too. Great experience here and hope to come again!

For this show, I was up in the balcony and it was well set up for optimal concert experience. The staff was friendly, professional and I'm glad to hear it will be open for another year because the phoenix is such an incredible venue that still gives the classic Toronto music scene energy that's tragically dwindling throughout the city.

Smaller stage and standing room, great for hip-hop, indy/rock, and metal shows. Security are friendly, helpful and efficient. Layout of the venue is bad as the entrance is right beside stage left so it is difficult to get inside the concert area if there are a lot of people on the floor. It is difficult to get to the bar and the washrooms are nice but often blocked by people standing watching the show.

I hadn’t been here in years. Used to love it here but it has become pretty run down and kind of chaotic. It was a great show, but depending on where you stand the sound is very different. It’s not overly organized and the flow of people/bars/entry is not the most well thought out. But a great time overall!

honestly only gave it a four-star for the obnoxious crowd.

tickets for vip were awesome.
prices for alcohol were reasonable, staff were phenomenal with a disability-related issue where we needed to exit. so kind to even supply two free water bottles because they could see we were frantic.
the living tombstone was a blast!

Came here on Tuesday, March 12, 2024 to see Twilight Force and Gloryhammer:

A lot of people on here have talked about how bad the security team is in this venue, but when I went, the security team were nothing but nice to me. In fact, all of the stuff were nice and I had no bad experiences with anyone. I think there's different security teams on different days since I haven't encountered any problems with security being rude or disrespectful when I went here.

The building / venue was pretty cool. There's a hallway that features photos of some of the venue's past concerts and it's cool seeing so many big names preforming here in the past. The venue area was small but cozy. The sound was pretty good for the most part. I was in the balcony section of the venue and there was an alcohol area dedicated just for the people in the balcony section (Although I never bought anything from there, so I can't comment on the price or drinks they offered). The seats on the balcony section were comfy.

The reason I'm giving Phoenix Concert Theatre 4 stars instead of 5 is because I did encounter one problem: If you are not sitting in the first row of the balcony seats and someone sits in front of you, they will most likely block your view of the whole show. Thankfully, the people who were sitting in front of me left for about 95% of the show. So I could see mostly everything. I'll remember this for the next time I choose the balcony seats here.

Overall, besides that one issue with the balcony seats, I had a really good time here! Gloryhammer, Twilight Force, and AMMO (The opening band) all preformed great at this show! I wouldn't mind coming back here, although I hope the next show I see here has good security people again.

Very good venue. Upper balcony for VIP was cool. Security was strict but fair enough that the event was still enjoyable. Would attend another show here!
