My first visit here. Attended the outdoor theater. Parking nearby for $5, or free if you park farther away and walk in through City Center. There were folding wooden chairs for seating, and a good view of the stage from our location. You can see cars driving back and forth nearby, but surprisingly the noise is insignificant from the traffic. Kind and considerate staff, helpful directions. Large restroom areas, no waiting.

Awesome and beautiful place for a concert. There is not a bad seat. Bathrooms are nice and clean. We saw Skillet there. Look forward to going again.

First time at The Astro and first time seeing Dogstar! It was a great show and a nice venue. Make sure your clutch is small or remember to have a clear bag...my wallet was too long and we had to walk back to the car to leave it behind. Otherwise, it was an amazing evening and experience!

First time at The Astro and I found it to be a really nice, upscale venue. It's not large like the standard stadium venue, which gave it a much more relaxed atmosphere. Add in extremely convenient parking at the parking garage right across the street and it set a really good time for the concert.

There was a well-stocked bar/drink service, and the drinks were good. Most of the seats had a great view of the performers (the balcony wing seats right by the stage looked like you might miss some of the stage). I think my biggest issue was with our seats. The Astro had some permanently mounted seats, some bar seats at the back tables, and they also have folding seats (which is what we were sitting it). The folding seats (the last two rows in the central balcony before you get to the table seating) don't have a lot of cushion on them, and after a bit I was was really uncomfortable. It was really my only complaint, and now that we know, one that is hopefully avoidable.

All in all, I will definitely be going back to The Astro. It's a great place that has a much better atmosphere than a stadium.

We had the best time here! From start to finish, the staff was very accommodating and ensured everyone had a great time. This included trying to move things along a little quicker due to the heat and keeping people from standing around outside too long. They also had nice and tidy restrooms.

There truly isn’t a bad seat in the house at this place aside from the only thing I heard others complaining about (and noticed but wasn’t too worried) was the seats were very close together on the floor and two big backs (like myself) let alone three next to each other could have been a disaster. Thankfully after seeing all seats were not sold we were able to slightly spread out so at the end of the day not a big deal.

All in all I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a place to watch a great band and have a very pleasant experience.

I've seen two concerts at the Astro. Slash was indoors due to weather and Gary Clark Jr was outside. The venue is pretty, the bathrooms are clean. But this venue has some of THE WORST sound and mixing I've ever heard at a serious venue. It sounds like you're listening to a band in a dive bar. If you're trying to understand what's being said on stage, don't go see a show here. This issue was consistent between the indoor and outdoor areas, and it impacted the openers as well as the headliners.

The doors at the Gary Clark Jr show last night opened late, so we actually were present for soundcheck with the opener. They brought up that their vocals weren't right and the sound engineer said he'd fix it while they were on stage. The band were clearly concerned, but the issue was not resolved during their set! And all of the singers for both performances were clearly struggling with their headsets and constantly messing with them. I'm not sure what's going on here, but hopefully the Astro can figure it out. I'm not coming to another show at this venue until they do.

Great venue. It has an outdoor and indoor venue. Make sure you know which one you are getting into. Gates open 1 hour before the show and the lines can already be a few blocks long at time of opening.

We went here for the first time to see 38 special and it was a great concert. We had no complaints about the venue. Not a bad seat in the house. Lines were fairly short. Staff were friendly and helpful. We parked in the parking garage and didn't have to walk too far. Highly recommend.
